Acoustic vehicle alerting system

Electric cars are much quieter than traditional cars with internal combustion engines. Therefore, the car is equipped with an acoustic vehicle alerting system that activates when the car is travelling 20 km/h or less, producing a sound so that pedestrians and other vulnerable road users are more aware of the car at low speeds.

Note: The acoustic vehicle alerting system is a legal requirement in the EU and cannot be turned off.
