Parking assist system

Parking assist system

Warning
•  The parking assist system is meant to assist the driver with parking, it is not a replacement for the driver. Obstacles, cars, or pedestrians could be undetected by the sensors or not visible in the cameras. Be aware of your surroundings. Failure to do so could result in death, serious injury, or damage to the car and objects around it.
At low speeds, the parking assist system uses the sensors around the car to provide a visual and audible warning, and cameras to provide a live video view.
To adjust the audible warning volume, navigate to Graphic>Zeekr AD>Parking assist>Parking sensor volume.
The parking assist system is automatically activated when driving at a speed of 12 km/h or below. When the parking assist system is activated, a pop-up window appears on the center display, showing a representation of the car and the monitored areas around the car, divided into sectors.
The parking assist system automatically deactivates when:
The speed of the car exceeds 12 km/h.
The car is put in P.
The 360° camera interface shows the car and the area around it on the center display. The 360° camera is automatically activated when:
The car is put in R.
Objects or obstructions are within detection range of the front sensors.
The left stalk is moved upward/downward.
The 360° camera can also be activated manually. To manually enter the 360° camera interface, press Graphicon the bottom toolbar.
Note: People, objects, and obstructions shown in the 360° camera might be closer to the car than they appear to be.
The 360° camera deactivates when:
The speed of the car exceeds 30 km/h, if manually activated.
The speed of the car exceeds 12 km/h, if automatically activated and the car is in R.
In the 360° camera interface, it is possible to:
  Change view
Move the car model freely in the 3D view
  Turn on/off the audible warning
Additional settings are available in the 360° camera settings menu, including:

Limitations of the parking assist system
The parking assist system relies on the sensors and cameras around the car. The performance of the system can be limited by bad weather conditions such as heavy rain, snow, or ice. See Limitations of the driver assistance system sensors for more information on sensor and camera limitations. Visibility can be negatively affected by low ambient light, or a low brightness setting on the center display during strong sunlight.
If the parking assist system does not function, a pop-up window appears on the center display accompanied by an audible warning.
If an ultrasonic sensor does not function, an error message appears in the 360° camera interface and the notification center, indicating if a front or rear sensor is faulty.
The 360° camera can be limited or stop working entirely in case of system or camera issues:
If one or more of the cameras are not working, a camera fault message appears in the 360° camera interface. The interface also shows which cameras are not working.
If all four cameras are broken, or if the 360° camera system experiences a severe fault, a pop-up window appears on the center display.
If the 360° camera interface is completely black, the function is not available.
